Reader’s Mail: I’m Still Struggling To Let Go

It’s been three years since I got married to my wife, and the problem I have is that I am still struggling to forgive her.
Before my wife and I got married three years ago, we had series of arguments and disagreements over what her exact bride price should be. I went through hell in the hands of her family members, but even that didn’t hurt me as much as what my wife did or did not do.
I raised objection several times due to the fact that her parents were milking me dry. I sold a couple of things to marry her then, and it still amazes me that she encouraged me to sell one of my cars, and asked for a loan from my bank.

The problem I have is that I keep bringing up our pre-marriage issues each time we argue. I want to stop because it hurts her deeply, but find out that I can’t.
Please help me Ladun.
